Visualising Environmental Issues in Myanmar Using Satellite Images
Rapid growth in technology has positive and negative effects on us. We are currently facing major environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, global warming and resource depletion. Over the past decades, growth in economy means more factories, and vehicles which result in pollution : air, water, waste and noise pollution. Another side effect is global warming which is caused by increased concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, mainly from human activities such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation and farming. We welcome teams to use satellite images of environmental issues, analyzing the data to visualize and further forecast for the near future.
